Building Healthy Communities
Our History
United Vision Foundation was born from a shared calling to serve. In 2005, Jimmy Dixon and Stephanie Jex crossed paths while working in real estate—Jimmy in sales and lending, and Stephanie as a certified appraiser with a background in senior care. What started as a professional connection quickly turned into a partnership rooted in a common desire to make a difference in people’s lives.
They saw firsthand how many individuals and families were falling through the cracks—seniors struggling with isolation, families facing housing insecurity, and entire communities lacking access to essential services. Inspired to take action, they combined their skills, resources, and experience to launch United Vision Foundation in 2008.
From day one, their focus has been on creating real, practical solutions—connecting people to the support they need to live healthier, more stable, and empowered lives. Whether it’s housing navigation, caregiver support, or bridging gaps between health and social care, every initiative reflects their deep belief in equity, dignity, and the power of community.
